Nine Mile Metals Finalises the KMS UAV Magnetic Survey

In preparation for its previously disclosed 5,000 m stage 2 drill program at its Nine Mile Brook VMS Project in the renowned Bathurst Mining Camp (BMC), New Brunswick, Canada, Nine Mile Metals Ltd. reports that the company has submitted the required drill licenses to the NB DEM.

The figure shows that, in contrast to late-stage strong conductive targets, our geophysical mining process has found high-priority drill targets (white dots).

Two track mount drill rigs have been purchased by Nine Mile Metals from Lantech Drilling in Dieppe, New Brunswick. The extremely successful stage 1 lens area drill program used the same drilling partner. To create a 24-hour drill program field team on both rigs, researchers will need two 12-hour drill teams per drill rig.

They will accomplish the objectives of the exploration program more quickly and economically by operating two drill rigs simultaneously. This will also enable us to submit our assays to the Certified Lab much sooner.

The work program at Nine Mile Brook is progressing as planned, the integration of data continues to define Priority Targets on the western flank of the Brunswick #12. We look forward to expanding the footprint of the Lens Area mineralization with Stage 2 drilling, while also discovering additional VMS bodies at depth within the Priority Target Areas defined by EarthEX.

Additionally, EarthEX Geophysical Solutions has finished the 1,000 line/km UAV 3D High Definition Magnetic Survey grid using its exclusive drone technology and processing algorithms at the nearest attainable spacing of (25 m).

EarthEX will use its cutting-edge proprietary algorithms to process all raw data before incorporating it into our expanding 3D exploration model.

The objective is to establish the Stage 2 drill targets on both the larger property scale and the ongoing exploration program at the Nine Mile Brook Lens area by integrating the High-Definition Magnetics, EM and physical characteristics analyses, and drill core log data. All geological features and subsurface bodies have been specified by EarthEX for incorporation into our 3D exploration model.

The sources of the Lens break as well as the mineralized folding have confirmed structures. To evaluate a 3,000-ton bulk sample, our technical staff is negotiating with RPC Science & Engineering, Fredericton, NB, for Mineral Processing Analysis of the Lens 1 core samples. The bulk sampling procedure instructions from the NB DEM have been delivered to Nine Mile Metals.

For ground-based Induced Polarization (I.P.) and Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) surveys across Priority Target Areas 1, 2, 3, and 5, NB DEM licenses have also been requested and approved.

Prior to starting the drill program in October, Eastern Geophysics has been reserved and scheduled for the surveys. The physical properties lab at EarthEX in Selkirk, Manitoba, performed a core study that revealed a distinct feature of our VMS lens digital signature.

Along with having a higher conductivity response than the core’s high-grade Lead-Zinc component, the Copper-Gold mineralization also has a higher chargeability signature than is typical of VMS deposits. In addition to the typical EM Survey, Eastern Geophysics will carry out a ground-based IP Survey over the Stage 2 Lens Area under the supervision of EarthEX.

A good response in both the IP and EM signatures should be used to determine the chargeability response from further mineralized Lenses. This method has been successfully employed by EarthEX in the BMC in the past.
